HGV Class 1 Driver

We are looking to recruit HGV C+E (Class 1) driver to operate from our Head Office in Penistone, S36 9FN.

The shift pattern for the role is open to discussion, whether Monday-Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, usual start time from 6pm. Daily hours vary, to be discussed during the interview stage.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for collecting and delivering animal by-products nationwide Completing all legally required documentation concerning movement of products Drivers' hours rules and regulations including working time regulations Use of tachographs and vehicle first user checks

Requirements

Adhering with UK and EU driving regulations, you must hold a clean HGV C+E driving license, current DCPC card and Digital Tachograph Card Experience in the movement of animal by products will be an advantage Skip loader (Hooks / chains) experience would also be an advantage Wagon and Drag experience ADR qualification (Tanker experience) desirable but not essential.
