Truck Driver class 1 as we use spec lifts on hgvs

Duties:

- Operate and drive various types of recovery trucks from 3.5 t to 26 t

- You wil be required to collect end of life and salvage vehicles from mainly residential addresses

- Start 7.30 am finish 5.30 pm

- monthly bonus scheme for no damage

- company van and fuel provided after 30 day trial

- 9 paid hrs per day 1 hr unpaid break. salary will go up to 15/hr when fully trained ( 32k approx ) plus van and bonus scheme

- Full training will be given

- hiab loading certificate / experience would be great but not essential

- No nights out. The occasional extra hr maybe reqd

- Knowledge of motor vehicles would be helpful

- Family run business

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- To be punctual is essential
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cars
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
