Job Description
J&P Vehicle deliveries are a well-established Car Transport company based in Bolton.
We are looking for a professional
HGV CLASS 1 CAR TRANSPORTER
to join our growing team. This is a full-time tramping role, operating Monday to Friday. The role includes nationwide delivery and collections of vehicles using a car transporter that can carry up to 11 vehicles!While previous experience in car transport is preferred, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS
Full valid UK Licence, CPC card & Digi Card
HGV Class 1 Licence (
2 Years experience
)No more than 6 Points on licence
A good understanding of EU drivers' hours and WTD (working time directive)
Proficient in basic IT skills and the use of a handheld device
Strong communication and customer service skills
Detail focused
DUTIES
Delivering loads to various customer across the UK
Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe practices are followed
Inspecting vehicles to ensure they match description whilst ensuring to raise any discrepancies with the vehicle in a timely manner
Strong communication with the transport
PAY / HOLIDAYS
15 Per Hour
34 Night Out
52.50 Weekly Bonus
26 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays (Paid at 200 per day)
2500 Annual bonus paid half in Summer and half in Winter.
