Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving. I.e: Curtain, Amazon, general haulage. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Tramper drivers prefered as there is an element of night out when certain customer jobs demand it.

Responsibilities

Operate our Tractor unit to transport goods to designated locations using our own curtain trailer or the customers trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance using our company phone. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during operations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns professionally.

Requirements

Valid HGV driving licence with C+E with a minimmum of 2 years of Commercial driving experience. Over the age of 30 due to insurrance policy Maximum of 6 points on the licence in the last 5 years. No DD, DR. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and securing loads. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude. A clean driving record is preferred.
