Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of pre-cast concrete flooring components.

Due to ongoing expansion, we require an additional

HGV Lorry Driver

to join our passionate, dynamic, friendly team in Wisbech.

The role will involve delivering our products and, when required, working alongside our Installation Teams assisting with the installation of our Pre-cast Concrete Flooring. You will be driving a flatbed trailer but offering holiday and sickness cover for the articulated and rigid HIAB vehicles.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role

To deliver our pre-stressed concrete products from our casting factory in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire throughout East Anglia and the East of England.

Driving an articulated vehicle with flatbed trailer but offering holiday and sick cover for the fleet articulated and rigid Hiab vehicles.

Working on building site alongside our Installation Team helping to Install pre-cast concrete flooring.

While on a flatbed vehicle you will be required to assist and direct the forklift driver in the loading of your vehicle. When on a HIAB vehicle you will be expected load and unload your own vehicle ensuring you have ample time to arrive at the customers site at the required time. A high degree of physical activity is anticipated for the role.

You will be the face to face contact the customer has with our company. therefore, a polite, patient, friendly manner is essential.

As a professional driver you will be required to carry out all daily checks in line with the requirements in place at the time.

Qualifications and Skills

Class 1 Licence

HIAB operators' ticket advantageous but training can be given to the right candidate.

Valid, Current CPC certification

CSCS Card would be advantageous
