About us

We are a family owned Plant rental and haulage business based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

We are seeking a fully qualified HGV Class 2 driver to work, Monday to Friday on a dayshift with our friendly team. We are preferably looking for someone with previous experience of working in the Plant machinery sector although not critical.

The role will entail a balance of HGV driving, the loading and unloading of company plant equipment as well as hauling customers own equipment. The successful applicants will possess a valid HGV licence, Drivers CPC and digi-tacho card.

Duties Required:

Loading and unloading of Plant equipment on /off the HGV.

Securely chaining and lashing the equipment.

Ensuring to comply to Health and Safety procedures at all times.

Delivering and collecting equipment to customer sites.

Handover machines to customers and familiarise customers with safe machine operation in accordance with company procedures.

The ideal Candidate will:

>Have experience gained within the plant hire industry.

>Have a broad knowledge of Plant & Equipment.

>Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times.

>Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required.

>Understand the importance of excellent customer service.

>Have a "Can do" attitude and posses good enthusiasm.

>Be an excellent communicator.

>Be fully aware of drivers hours and regulations under GB Domestic Drivers hours rules.

Salary: Starting From 13.50 p/hr dependant upon experience.
