Job Description
Hurn Recycling is the largest independent waste Company in Dorset, with an ever expanding Company we are looking for an additional HGV drivers to join the team.
Pay is 15.00 an hour (including paid breaks), and bin bonus of 0.20p per bin emptied (estimated bonus 15.00 to 25.00 a day). With bonuses the annual salary will be between 38,000 to 41,000.
Work is Monday to Friday, 9 hour shifts (with a 5 hour Saturday shift every 6/8 weeks on a rota). We're looking for drivers to do our morning shift (4am/5am starts).
The successful candidate would have a good knowledge of the local area and experience driving bin lorries (although this is not essential, and we will consider anyone qualified to drive a class 2 lorry, including new passes).
The role would include carrying out wheeled bin collections in and around the Dorset & New Forest area as a single manned crew (no loaders, but will be trained on routes initially). You would be on set routes each day, and regularly using the same vehicles (no changing lorries every day).
Full uniform is given including PPE
Full training will be given
CPC training each year to keep your licence up to date
