Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

Ensure the safe loading and unloading, securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

The position will involve manual handling duties, and attention to detail is important as duties will require working to set procedures.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all company policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.

Working hours and salary:

Days of work: MON-FRI, start times varies between 5-7am

50 hrs a week

Salary: 14,95 - 16,95 p/h
