Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

Operate arctic lorries in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and securing loads. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
