HGV Class 2 Driver

Recycled Materials Supplies Ltd are recycling specialists delivering a highly accredited distribution service with a record of excellent customer feedback.

The fleet comprises Tipper/Grab, Roll-on/off, and Skip vehicles.

We have a blend of young and experienced drivers, and we want to add to our fleet as we continue to expand as we believe in allowing drivers to excel in our company.

You will be required to act as an ambassador for our company on customer sites, loading and unloading waste/products while providing excellent customer service and having an excellent eye for detail.

All applicants will need to live within reasonable travelling distance from our yards, which are based in Charlton, Silvertown and Dagenham.

About you:

A full and valid HGV driving licence, along with a CPC and Tachograph Card. No major endorsements on your licence. Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks when asked. Strong knowledge of tachograph regulations. Ability to carry out thorough daily walkaround checks and defect reporting. Have excellent concentration levels when driving and adhere to the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act. Be willing to learn and work within our industry-related accreditations

Responsibilities:

Work with the Transport Team to achieve customer expectations. Be able to complete company paperwork daily. Collecting waste from our range of customers and delivering products. Ensure that the vehicle's cleanliness is maintained at all times. Follow company procedure at all times. Weekends optional.

Excellent starting salary, which you will be paid weekly 17 per hour A wage review after a 3-month probation period 20 days holiday
