Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join one of our clinets. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely collecting loads across in the Cambridgeshire, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Experience with tanker and waste managment is highly desirable.

Basic pay (depending on experiance) 14 to 17ph

On call rota for evenings and weekends maybe required.

Overtime paid and enhanced rate.

Responsibilities

Safely operate waste collection lorries and other commercial vehicles. to ensure. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs. Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered en route. Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, adhering to health and safety guidelines. With future prospects for training on other types of equipment. This will run on GB Domestic hours rules.

Experience

Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with tanker vehicles or jetting and vacuuming appliances. Strong understanding of driving regulations and safety procedures within the UK. Valid driving licence with Catagory C and valid DCPC card mandatory. Prior experience in waste collection and waste water desirable.

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
