We are seeking a reliable and skilled

HGV Driver class 2

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of pallets to various locations across the North East. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to road safety regulations whilst operating a 18 tonne curtain sider truck. Responsibilities

Operate a 18 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients upon delivery. Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management.

Experience

Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for HGV vehicles. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving. Familiarity with curtainsider lorry operations is advantageous. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
