DESCRIPTION

NML Solutions specialise in the install of load handling equipment to commercial lorry bodies.

Due to recent growth we require the services of a HGV driver with crane operator experience, for example Hiab or Palfinger equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Driver to join our team at NML Solutions on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.

The role includes the delivery of completed units and load testing of new equipment by following a test schedule.

JOB FUNCTION

Reporting to and working along side the production manager to:

Commission of new equipment following installation and completing stability checks. Generating inspection reports and test certificates to accompany vehicle upon completion. Completing thorough examinations and LOLER inspections of lifting equipment, carrying out load test in line with relevant ALLMI guidelines and EN12999 machinery directive regulations. Diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems during install stage. Delivery of completed units.

JOB CRITERIA

HGV Class 1 or 2 rigid licence Minimum of two years of experience in operating truck mounted cranes, for example Hiab or Palfinger equipment Good level of IT skills and experience using digital service tools. Previous experience of load handling and slinging would be desirable but not essential as full training can be provided Full UK Driving licence

WORKING WEEK

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm Friday 8.00am to 2.00pm Overtime hours available
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 31,000.00-35,000.00 per year
