Role Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Driver at our depot in Dewsbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated person who is looking for a new challenge. You will play a crucial role in delivering building materials to our customers around the Dewsbury area, loading and unloading safely and maintaining a high level of customer care and service.

Applicants should possess a current Class 1 or Class 2 (Cat C & E) licence and a valid Moffett licence, with good experience of both. Ideally you will also have experience in a builder's merchant setting.

Salary: 28,456.98 per annum, plus up to 6688.50 overtime

Hours: 6.30am-5pm Mon-Fri, including 1.5 hours overtime

Holiday: 22 days per year plus Bank Holidays

Requirements

Valid HGV licence and clean driving record Moffett licence is an advantage ALLMI and up to date CPC Knowledge of relevant safety regulations Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and carry heavy items Flexibility to work long hours and weekends Positive, can do attitude Eligible to work in the UK
