Better Work-Life Balance

: Serve SPAR Scotland stores from the Dundee depot and sleep in your own bed - five nights a week. Most early runs are back mid-to-late afternoon; a minority finish later in the evening. No multi-nights away and no continental work.

Planned Routes & Predictable Weeks

: Your rota for the following week lands Thursday/Friday. Starts are fairly shared across rolling windows (earlies typically 03:00-08:00, some late departures 10:00-15:00) with day-before notice of changes. You'll learn a set of repeat routes during onboarding, then run those regularly - fewer surprises, lower stress.

Safety Comes First

: We back legal, professional driving - no pressure to limit breaks or "make up time." Telematics and cameras protect you and ensure fairness. If an address or access is unsuitable, you stop and call - we support safe decisions and re-plan where needed.

Sensible Handling (Not Hours on a Bay):

This is retail: cages and pump trucks, guided by your handheld. Handling time is built into the job and paid. Stores are briefed to receive deliveries; if a cage is unsafe or help isn't available, you escalate and we resolve -- you're not on your own. A "master mover" can be provided where helpful.

Fair Rota, Fair Holidays:

We operate a clear, consistent approach to rota allocation and holiday approvals. Plan ahead with confidence: approvals are respected wherever operationally possible, and we communicate early if plans need to shift.

Modern Refrigerated Fleet:

Drive Scania, Volvo and Iveco tractors/rigids with refrigerated bodies, sleeper cabs, air-con, cameras and telematics. Tail lifts and your handheld terminal guide each step, from pre-trip checks to scanning every cage. Vehicles are well-maintained and spec'd for this work.

Training, Standards & Who Thrives Here:

Start with 3 weeks of structured onboarding (in-house and on-the-road), then run routes you've already learned. Most drivers settle within 3-6 months. This suits Class 1 drivers who want earnings without nights-out, and Class 2 drivers ready for rigids (and progression).
