Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 & Class 2 Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various types of cargo, including refridgerated & curtainsider loads.

Duties

Operate a lorry in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues Adhere to health and safety standards while on the road Clean manual licence Requirement's includes weekends and nights Use of tablet for orders and planning

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members Forklift experience preferable

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Freelance

Pay: 14.50-16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week

Work Location: In person
