Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various locations. This role requires experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and a proven track record as a delivery driver.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while on the road.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items when necessary.
