HGV Driver / Labourer

to join our team.

The Role

As an HGV Driver / Labourer, you will play a key role in delivering and collecting scaffolding materials to and from various sites, as well as assisting scaffolders with loading, unloading, and site work.

Responsibilities include:

Driving a company HGV to transport scaffolding materials safely and efficiently Assisting scaffolders with manual handling, loading/unloading, and site labouring Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting maintenance issues Ensuring materials are secured correctly during transit Supporting site teams with general tasks as required Upholding high standards of safety and professionalism on all sites

Requirements

Valid

HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

Current

CPC

and

digital tachograph card

Good understanding of load securing and vehicle safety Physically fit and willing to carry out manual labour Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player Previous experience in the scaffolding or construction industry is

advantageous

but not essential

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm

Salary:

Competitive, depending on experience + overtime available

Contract:

Permanent

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.16-19.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
