Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver Class 2 category C licence to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of fallen stock, ensuring timely collections while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, as well as the ability to manage various driving conditions. We hold a CPC course for the drivers once a year.

Responsibilities

Operate a lorry to transport fallen stock from various locations safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load for transport and unload at end of day. Fill in paperwork for each collection. Communicate effectively with the office and customers. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service during collections, representing the company positively at all times.

Experience

Experience as a Commercial Driver or Delivery Driver is advantageous. A valid driver's licence with the appropriate endorsements for operating heavy vehicles is required. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients and colleagues. A background in farming would be advantageous.
