Role Description

Are you a reliable and experienced HGV Driver with Loft Loader experience? Join the team at Lords Builders Merchants Kings Langle

and play a vital role in delivering top-quality service to our customers.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is confident working at height, enjoys early starts, and takes pride in delivering materials safely and efficiently. You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team in a well-established builders' merchant with strong local customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

Safely deliver building materials to customer sites using a Loft Loader system Operate the Loft Loader at height in accordance with safety regulations Load and unload stock, ensuring accurate deliveries and paperwork Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle Provide great customer service on every drop Follow all delivery, returns, and stock control procedures Support the wider branch and logistics team as needed

Competitive Salary Offered

Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm alternate Saturdays

Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays

Requirements

A valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and Driver CPC Loft Loader experience preferred HIAB (brick grab) licence beneficial -- or willingness to train At least 2 years' experience in a similar multi-drop driving role Strong customer focus, timekeeping, and communication skills Confidence navigating delivery routes safely and efficiently A strong commitment to safety and professionalism Eligible to work in the UK
