Hgv Driver
Job Description
Griffin Scaffolding London seeking HGV Class 2 . Experience of working in a scaffolding industry is preferable.
Responsibilities include:
Hold a full UK licence with (Category C) Class 2 entitlement.
Hold a valid CPC and Tachograph card.
Understand and adhere to drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
Daily walk around checks of the vehicle and load to check safety
Monday-Friday (Paid for a minimum of 10 hours per day), Weekend availability.
Load and unload lorries preparing equipment for despatching to site.
Occasionally make deliveries to sites and collect materials from sites.
Be able to organize and manage your work and be reliable.
Working with and alongside others as part of a team.
Responsible for managing and maintaining scaffolding and plant equipment in the yard.
Ensure all aspects of yard operations are safe, efficient and cost-effective.
Health & Safety policies must be adhered to at all times.
Reporting and investigating any incidents/hazards keeping up to date on Stock Control.
Working using your own initiative whilst regularly reporting to the team.
