We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with TIPPER vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Duties

Operate TIPPER lorries safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (CPC) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
