Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and delivery services, with a focus on driving Skip, Grab and Tipper Lorries.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo following safety procedures
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Physical strength and stamina for loading and unloading cargo
