As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. As a Driver working for Kuehne + Nagel (Aerospace & Defence) you have an opportunity to deliver

How you create impact

Complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal
working environment and consistent quality standards.

+ Any five from seven core working, this includes night shifts and some nights away
+ Maintaining and promote a positive image of Kuehne+Nagel Aerospace & Defence
+ Safe and high driver standards and positive driver behaviours
+ Follow all delivery, collection and returns procedures
+ Maintain and manage company equipment
+ Responsible for the security of the vehicle & load at all times
+ Report vehicle defects and ensure that the defect is documented
+ Comply with Driver's regulations & Working Time Directive in line with the O license
legalisation and Company procedures

+ In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the
needs of the business, where appropriate training provided

+ Ensure all documentation is completed as per company procedure.

What we would like you to bring

Must hold a current class C+E licence

Desirable ADR Class 1-9 including 7x awareness - Less 7 Basic numeracy and conversational English language Hold a valid driver qualification card Preferred 2 years driving experience Excellent communication skills Customer focused Desire to succeed Experience of working within a team Experience of Health & Safety
