Job Description

We are seeking a HGV Waste Water Operative to work in a team of 2 where you will be required to resolve drainage issues on the sewer network based in Rochdale.

Hours:

42.5 hours per week average across 18 weeks.

Shift Pattern:

Over 7 days per week. 8am to 6pm or 12pm to 10pm. Weekends and Bank Holidays are included.

Responsibilities - but not limited to:

You will be driving a HGV Class 2 high specification jetting and vacuum unit and working alongside an operative. Carry out remote CCTV investigations where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers. Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems. Liaising with customers. Updating electronical records. Ensuring safety issues are reported. Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks

Experience, Qualifications and skills:

HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points Excellent listening and communication skills Competent in IT, accurate data entry
Full training will be given in the following: Jetting/SLG/First Aid/Manual Handling/Confined Spaces
