We are currently seeking a

reliable, professional, self-employed HGV Driver

to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving standards, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely drive customers' vehicles to various destinations, primarily using

trade plates

Carry out

pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

to ensure roadworthiness Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including mileage and fuel records Communicate effectively with the operations team and customers regarding schedules and any delays Comply with all

road traffic laws, driver regulations, and company procedures

Represent the company professionally at all times and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

Valid

HGV licence

(

C+E preferred

) Proven experience in commercial or professional driving Previous vehicle movement or trade plate experience is highly desirable Strong time management and organisational skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently while being part of a wider team A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction
