We are recruiting experienced

Class 1 (C+E) Drivers

in the

S26 area

for ongoing

PM

work doing trunking on behalf of Royal Mail . This role offers consistent shifts, competitive pay, and long-term opportunities.

Duties

Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks. Carry out Class 1 trunking, cage deliveries, and Royal Mail runs. Secure loads correctly using straps and box trailers. Maintain accurate delivery documents and mileage logs. Follow all road safety laws and Royal Mail site procedures. Communicate clearly with the transport office regarding delays or issues. Represent the company professionally at all times.

Experience Required

Minimum

1 year Class 1 experience

(verifiable via tacho records). Experience with general haulage and securing loads Royal Mail experience is an advantage but not essential. Good understanding of transport regulations and working time rules. Strong time-management and reliable communication skills.

Valid

Category C+E (Class 1)

licence. Valid

Digital Tachograph Card

. Valid

Driver CPC

. Maximum of

6 penalty points

(no DR, DD, IN endorsements). Professional, polite, and reliable at all times.
