HGV Driver

Key Responsibilities

:
As a HGV Driver, you will secure and transport product and/or plant machinery safely between sites whilst adhering to any relevant legislation and in line with Company expectations. Ensuring any vehicle used is subject to agreed preventative maintenance procedures to ensure it always remains safe and legal in use. Other duties will include keeping both vehicle and trailers clean and clear of debris. Working in the yard as and when required, driving the shunter unit.

Requirements

:

Previous HGV driving experience. Category C+E Licence Up to date CPC licence A good understanding of Health & Safety practices on construction sites. Willingness to work away from home and travel between sites. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. There may be a requirement to loge out over night.
