We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of vehicles across various routes, ensuring compliance with all road safety and transportation regulations. The position involves operating recovery lorries and requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Responsibilities



Safely operate flatbed lorries for the transportation of vehicles and passengers over short and long distances. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of professionalism. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues. Load and unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery notes and logs. Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations during operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues that may arise during transit. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.

Qualifications



Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is essential. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or similar specialised vehicles. Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and handle physically demanding tasks when loading or unloading cargo. Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings or late evenings depending on delivery schedules. Pay: 14.00-22.00 per hour
