Role Description

We're currently looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our friendly team at our Tamworth depot. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied day, takes pride in excellent service, and values being home each evening.

You'll be responsible for delivering building materials to customers across the Tamworth area, using either a Moffett or crane-equipped vehicle. With a consistent weekly schedule and local routes, the role supports more predictable planning outside of work.

Key responsibilities:

Complete daily deliveries using your allocated vehicle (Moffett or crane) Load and unload materials safely, following all site and road safety procedures Provide professional and courteous service to our trade customers Support colleagues across the depot where needed -- a "can do, will do" approach is essential Maintain vehicle standards and ensure compliance with relevant checks and documentation
Salary: 28,456.98 per annum, plus up to 6688.50 overtime

Hours: 6.30am-5pm Mon-Fri, including up to 1.5 hours overtime

Holiday: 22 days per year plus Bank Holidays

Requirements

Valid HGV licence or a Crane licence and clean driving record Moffett licence is an advantage ALLMI and up to date CPC Knowledge of relevant safety regulations Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and carry heavy items Flexibility to work long hours and weekends Positive, can do attitude Eligible to work in the UK
