full-time, professional LGV Instructor

to join us as we launch an exciting new training project. If you're passionate about developing others and want to be part of something impactful, this is your opportunity.

Ideally, you'll be a qualified LGV Cat C+E Instructor (RLI, NRI or NVDIR), ready to bring energy, experience, and excellence into the classroom and on the road. You'll be key to shaping the next generation of safe, competent HGV drivers--and helping them achieve long-term success in the logistics industry.

What You'll Be Doing

Driver Inductions:

Deliver a structured and engaging 5-day induction programme for new HGV drivers.

Practical & Classroom Training:

Provide real-world driver training, theory sessions, and practical assessments in line with regulatory standards.

Refresher & Post-Incident Coaching:

Reassess and support drivers following incidents or periods away from driving.

Driver Development:

Use performance data and observations to guide 1:1 coaching and group training sessions.

Behavioural Support:

Offer professional feedback and improvement plans to drivers who need targeted support.

Regulatory & Technical Updates:

Stay current with industry changes and communicate updates effectively to the team.

Training Records:

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with internal systems and audit requirements.

What We're Looking For

Ideally qualified as an LGV Cat C+E Instructor (RLI / NRI / NVDIR), but we're open to training the right person. A minimum of 3 years' professional HGV driving experience across multiple modes. CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and full Class 2 licence (C+E preferred). Confident in both practical and classroom training delivery. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance procedures. Strong knowledge of transport legislation, including the Working Time Directive. A flexible and professional approach to working hours. A genuine passion for helping others grow and succeed in the transport industry.
