Key Responsibilities

As a Collection Driver at First Mile, your primary duties will include:

Starting your shift from one of our London Depots (North Acton or Hoxton) Picking up your vehicle and following a predetermined collection route. Using our innovative app to select the most efficient routes. Collecting refuse bags from clients. Returning to the depot at the end of your shift.

Shift Pattern

Night Shifts:

Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts) with a weekend day on alternate weeks. Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm

Morning Shifts:

Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts). Morning shifts start between 5am-8am.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A valid Cat. C UK driving license. A clean UK driving license. Experience driving in a city, preferably London. The right to work in the UK. Proficient English language skills.
