Job Description

The purpose of this role is to collect redundant large domestic appliances and deliver to a bulking station for recycling as per the pre-set schedule, together with any other additional duties which may be required in the efficiency of the business.

Main Duties:

Carry out collections in the order determined by the transport team Check and agree the correct quantities are collected for each order with the customer Ensure loads are safely stored and ready for transport Dealing with daily returns (recording, checking, placing in designated area within the warehouse) Cleaning and washing out the vehicle on return to site daily Checking, parking and locking the vehicle within the designated area in the yard Downloading digital drivers' card at the end of each week

Essential Requirements:

Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) licence Physically fit, as there's a degree of manual handling involved Confidence, self-motivation and enthusiasm Good knowledge of road networks Excellent customer relation skills Be a good team player Valid CPC card

Starting rate of 15 per hour rising to 16.75 after a successful 3 months trial period

Monday - Friday: 0630 - 1530

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
