Job Overview:



We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Assistant to join our team in Little Oakley, Northamptonshire, on a subcontractor basis. This position has become available due to an increased consistent workload, and we are looking for someone who is ready to get stuck in and help keep our operations running smoothly.

About the role:



Sub-contractor role:

40 hours per week

Monday-Friday

(Some requirements to start early and finish early at times. In this role you must be able to work flexibly to meet business needs when required. Pay:

150-160 per day

dependent on experience and vehicle licenses

Duties:



Loading and unloading lorries and pick-ups Delivering and collecting materials from sites Inspecting and upkeep of company vehicles General yard duties and maintenance

What we're looking for:



Full clean UK driving license is preferred HGV license (up to 18 tonnes) is preferred Experience in working with scaffold systems is preferred, but not essential. Forklift license is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate. A strong work ethic with reliability, and a willingness to learn Someone who can work well independently as well as part of a team
