Overview

We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 1 & 2 Truck Driver's to join our team. The ideal candidate's will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

Transport goods to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of loads, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with the Transport Office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various weather conditions. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client concerns professionally. Handball deliveries are involved so physical fitness and capabilities are required.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (C) or (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items when necessary.
