We are seeking a reliable and experienced Hiab Lorry Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various locations. This role requires proficiency in flatbed driving and a solid understanding of commercial driving regulations. As a Lorry Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally. Hiab Experience

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices. Proficiency in flatbed driving techniques and safety protocols. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively. Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records and ensuring load security. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
