Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV and loader/tractor Driver to join our team on a busy farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, transporting and unloading a wide variety of goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Tanker, Tipper, Walking Floor, Blower and Low Loader work. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the delivery process.

Skills

Wide-range of HGV and agriculture experience. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in logistics. Excellent time management skills. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Commitment to getting the job done. A valid HGV Class 1 driving licence is essential for this position.
