Position: Lorry Loader Operator

Please be aware, this role will involve nights out, which can sometimes be all week, and therefore applicants must be willing to do this.

Kettering, NN14 4DZ

Responsibilities:

Operate and manage the safe loading and unloading of goods and materials using a lorry loader crane. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, company policies, and FORS Gold standards. Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of the lorry loader crane. Secure and stabilise loads to prevent any accidents or damages during transportation. Collaborate with the transport team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operations, inspections, and deliveries. Demonstrate a strong commitment to environmentally friendly practices and sustainable transportation.

Requirements:

Valid CPCS/ALLMI qualification for Lorry Loader operations (desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate) Proven experience as a Lorry Loader Operator in a transport or logistics company. Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations, including FORS standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team. Good record-keeping skills and the ability to handle documentation accurately. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and occasional overtime.
