We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hgv.
Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques
Repair or replace faulty components to minimise downtime
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
Collaborate with team members to plan maintenance schedules and prioritise tasks
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times
Requirements
Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnostics and repairs
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are preferred
A valid driving licence is desirable for off-site repairs or installations
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: 25,650.63-52,175.03 per year
