Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
Repair or replace faulty components to minimise downtime
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
Collaborate with other team members to ensure safety standards are upheld during all operations
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required
Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar technical role
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or related fields are desirable
A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
