Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
used to keep airside operations running smoothly. From aircraft tugs and towing tractors to baggage loaders and specialist vehicles, no two days are the same.
You'll play a vital part in ensuring equipment reliability and safety across one of the UK's busiest airports.
HGV Mechanic - servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs
on airport GSE and heavy vehicles
Performing both
mechanical and electrical
maintenance to manufacturer and safety standards
Completing all
maintenance documentation
accurately and on time
Supporting operational teams by ensuring equipment is ready and safe for use
Following
Health & Safety
guidelines and company policies
Liaising with internal teams to coordinate maintenance and repair schedules
HGV Mechanic -What We're Looking For
Proven background as an
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
(GSE experience is a plus)
Solid knowledge of
diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced, safety-critical environment
Eligibility to obtain an
airside pass
(requires 5-year checkable history and basic criminal record check)
