Job Title: MOBILE HGV Mechanic (Tail Lift Sector Specialist)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic with specialized knowledge in the tail lift sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles, with a focus on maintaining and servicing tail lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on HGVs and tail lifts to ensure safety and compliance with UK transport regulations.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to tail lift mechanisms, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Keep detailed records of vehicle repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Troubleshoot complex fault findings and provide effective solutions promptly.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist in vehicle diagnostics using specialized tools and equipment.

- Working from a service van provided you will be expected to carry out servicing and repairs on site.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, preferably with a focus on the tail lift sector.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems related to tail lifts.
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Heavy Vehicle Engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid UK driving license with HGV category.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 50,000.00 per year
