Initially you will be based at our workshop in Pinchbeck and then moving over to our main Spalding site from September with bespoke facilities and state of the art equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic / Fitter looking to work within a friendly and supportive environment using innovative technology.

The successful candidate will perform truck repairs and maintenance work in accordance with industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Further training would be available in the role to strengthen your knowledge and skills.

This is a full-time position with core hours from

6am - 4pm

Sunday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance and minor / major repairs on our fleet of lorries and a variety of third-party vehicles. Conduct fault diagnosis and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Perform road tests when required (subject to license restrictions). Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the workshop. Complete job cards and service sheets in line with company and customer requirements correctly and one time Report all vehicle defects promptly and clearly.

Requirements:

Experience as an HGV fitter/mechanic. Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Ability to work unsupervised and manage time efficiently. Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential). Strong understanding of commercial vehicle systems. IT Literate
