Hgv Mechanic
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced HGV mechanic to join our busy workshop based in the Vale of Leven Industrial Estate. Our workshop maintains our fleet of trucks and trailers including both inspection/service and MOT prep.
The role will involve:
Preparing HGVs and trailers for MOT
Routine vehicle and trailer maintenance
Conducting general vehicle inspections and servicing
Completion of all necessary inspection sheets
The ideal candidate will be:
Time served HGV / Trailer Mechanic
Experienced in general maintenance and repair, including welding
Experience of working on all major manufacturers and vehicle types
HGV class 1 licence required for traveling to MOT station
Location: Vale of Leven
Core hours: 8am-4.30pm with opportunity for weekend and mid-week overtime.
