We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic software
Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times
Experience
Proven experience as a mechanic in an industrial or automotive environment is preferred
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively
Experience with diagnostic tools and software is advantageous
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting
A valid driving licence is preferred, especially for roles involving on-site repairs or equipment movement
