The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic

HGV Multi Drop Driver

to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of flour to multiple locations within a defined geographical area. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Deliveries are made by a mixture of forklift, tail lift and handball.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a rigid vehicle to deliver goods to multiple addresses Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secure and handled with care Obtain signatures and proof of delivery from recipients Maintain accurate delivery records and vehicle logs Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies Perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues. Provide excellent customer service, representing Matthews Cotswold Flour in a professional and courteous manner Handle any customer queries or issues on delivery and escalate as necessary Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and tidy.

Skills and Experience Required:

Valid UK driving license [specify any class requirements - e.g., full UK driving license, class two) Proven experience as a Multi Drop Driver, minimum experience -1+ year Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of road safety regulations Strong geographical knowledge of United Kingdom is advantageous Ability to plan and manage delivery routes effectively Good organisational and time management skills Ability to lift and carry 16kg flour sacks safely Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary:

34,000.00 - 40,000.00 per annum, including overtime and nights out

Hours:

Full Time, 50 hours per week. 4am stats from Shipton-under-Wychwood

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 34,000.00-40,000.00 per year

10 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
