Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete necessary paperwork for each delivery. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record. Experience as a commercial driver 6 months experience, must of held licence for 1 year minimum Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Pay: 18.00-19.00 per hour
