Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at Hardy's Recovery. This role is essential for transporting vehicles safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Based in Pwllheli , you will play a vital part in our operations, ensuring timely deliveries and recoveries. The position is on a 4 days on - 2 days off rota,(with possibility of changing to a 4 on 4 off system) so being able to work on weekends is a must. There is plenty of overtime available that will be paid on a higher rate. Drivers will be required to go on the occasional breakdown in a service van for basic stuff such as wheel changes and flat batteries, but for the majority will be driving our varied fleet of trucks that range from 7.5t to 18t.

Responsibilities

Safely operate various types of vehicles, including vans and flatbeds, for recovery and transportation tasks. Ensure timely delivery of vehicles to designated locations while maintaining high safety standards. Conduct routine checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition before use. Assist in loading and unloading vehicles as necessary during recovery operations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and recoveries for reporting purposes.

Requirements

Valid driver's license class 2 or above 7.5t Entitlement also strongly considered Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Must be able to pass police vetting in order to deal with police work
