About the role

RS Recovery are recruiting an experienced Roadside Technician to join our growing team in the Midlands

Your role will include but won't be limited to the following:

Live roadside breakdowns On-site truck and trailer maintenance and repairs Diagnostic fault finding Deck and tail lift faults Assist our recovery team with recoveries when required Fully comply with protocol and policies and safe working at the roadside

What you need to succeed

City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3 or NVQ Heavy Vehicle Maintenance equivalent The ability to work alone and use initiative to find faults Relevant experience within the commercial vehicle industry Good knowledge of EBS systems, tail lifts and lifting decks - full training provided General technical ability Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise directly with customers and control HGV license advantageous but not essential
