HGV Sweeper Driver

Hay Grade 4: 25,626 - 27,150 per annum

6:00-14:00 Monday/Thursday 6:00-13:30 Friday

37 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join our busy Environmental Services team as a Mechanical Sweeper Driver HGV.

Your role is to undertake mechanical sweeping duties using an HGV mechanical sweeper and other associated street cleaning functions across the Test Valley area.

To be suitable for the post it is essential that you hold an appropriate Category C HGV licence (rigid vehicles). Evidence of driver CPC is desirable but not essential. Experience of working outdoors in all weathers, dealing with the general public and working as part of a team is essential. A knowledge of street cleansing and of the Test Valley area would be an advantage but not essential.
